1. Who we are
The vehicle inspection centre identified in this website and in your inspection report is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us using the telephone number, email address, website, or physical address shown in the service or report.
2. Data we collect
We may collect customer identification and contact details; vehicle information such as registration plate, VIN, make, model, year, mileage, and condition; inspection answers, notes, measurements, diagnostic codes, photographs, videos, signatures, and consent records; booking, invoice, payment-status, and service-history information; staff account and audit records; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, device/browser information, session records, and error logs. We do not intentionally store full payment-card details in the inspection platform.
3. Why we use the data
We use data to create and manage bookings and inspections; identify the customer and vehicle; perform the requested service; prepare, publish, deliver, and revise reports; communicate about the inspection, recommendations, payment, and support; maintain service and audit records; protect accounts, reports, and systems; prevent misuse and investigate incidents; improve reliability; and meet legal, regulatory, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.
4. Basis for processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing is based on the customer's consent, the steps needed to provide the requested inspection service, our legitimate operational and security interests, and our legal obligations. Consent may be withdrawn for future optional processing, but withdrawal does not invalidate processing already carried out or information we must retain for legal, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
5. Sharing and service providers
Access is limited to authorized staff and service providers that need the data to operate the inspection service, including hosting, database, storage, authentication, email or messaging, monitoring, accounting, and payment providers. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal data.
6. Report links and international processing
Inspection reports may be delivered through a private link. Anyone who receives that link may be able to view the report, so the customer should share it only with trusted recipients. Some technology providers may process or store information in another country. Where this occurs, we use reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable requirements.
7. Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the inspection service, report history, customer support, security, accounting, legal obligations, and disputes. Retention periods may differ by record type. Data scheduled for deletion may remain for a limited period in protected backups or security logs before it is removed or overwritten.
8. Security
We use role-based access, authentication, access logging, private report controls, encrypted network connections, backups, and other reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure, and customers should protect report links and notify us if they believe access has been compromised.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and any lawful retention requirement, you may ask whether we hold your personal data and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of it; object to certain processing; withdraw consent for future optional processing; or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
